"A Little Ship at Sea"
This scene was the product of a 3D modeling course. As water simulation was much too advanced for me at the time, I faked it by throwing some shaders on warped geometry to set up a more 'toy' scene rather than realistic. The materials I chose to texture the ship itself also followed the theme of it being a small toy, rather than a realistic, life sized pirate ship. Instead of creating the illusion the ship held weight, it looks more as if it's extremely light, that one could pick it up and toss it between their hands.

This is the deck of the ship. I created smaller fishes to create a smaller scene once we zoomed a bit into the ship itself.

Using Houdini, I self taught myself to create a non simulated fog particle effect. I referenced off of a personal want to create blue atmosphere for the capstone film "Mouncey" as well as "The Lego Batman Movie" directed by Chris McKay.

This highway was created and textured for use in the "Bye Bye Bunny" Project that can be found in 2D Development.

"V2 Of a Little Ship at Sea"
Wanting to see how far I could push the plastic water of the previous screenshot, I experimented with the idea of adding movement via effects software.
